PECHA KUCHA presentations for PUBLIC SPEAKING
In May 2012 we ran a 4-day workshop for lecturers and students. Students give a great many PowerPoint presentations as part of their IPG course, but often these presentations consisted of just plagiarised material read off the screen, with no real understanding and very boring ... we've all been there.
We had the idea of using the Pecha Kucha model, with a couple of adjustments:

- Each presentation talk was to consist of 20 slides which run for 20 seconds each (set automatically within PowerPoint). This is the normal Pecha Kucha model.
- The only words anywhere were on the title slide. This was our addition.
